Hello and welcome! My name is Hilary and I am glad to share with you a little bit about myself. I truly value the relationships that I build with people, both professionally and personally.
My Approach
I am continually inspired by witnessing the courage and resiliency I see in people as they navigate life’s challenges and bravely reveal their vulnerabilities in order to grow.
With compassion and humility, I strive to support individuals to feel confident in who they are without judgement, and to not have challenges or the past define their lives. I believe in overcoming adversity and that change is possible.
I enjoy bringing creativity, humor, sensitivity, and curiosity into the therapy. I want to guide people towards their own healing and in developing a new narrative for themselves in order to thrive.
I value an integrative, holistic approach and pull from several modalities so that I can tailor the therapy to the client’s needs.
My approaches and interventions include:
- Strength-Based
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Solution Focused
- Narrative
- Somatic
- Mindfulness
- Play therapy
- Relational therapy
- Attachment Based therapy
- Art therapy
- Bowen family systems
- Motivational Interviewing
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
