TheraThrive IOP
Intensive Outpatient Program for Neurodivergent Teens
Program Details
TheraThrive's intensive outpatient program for neurodivergent teens is a comprehensive, individualized program that incorporates group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, parent support, social activities, and neurofeedback to support healing, growth, and overall wellness.

Begin the Journey
TheraThrive's intensive outpatient program for neurodivergent teens provides comprehensive, individualized support for adolescents ages 12–17 whose needs extend beyond traditional weekly therapy.
Every neurodivergent adolescent deserves support that recognizes both their challenges and their strengths. If your teen is struggling with anxiety, OCD, PDA, burnout, emotional overwhelm, executive functioning difficulties, social challenges, school stress, depression related to chronic illness, or family conflict, TheraThrive IOP may provide the structure, support, and specialized care they need to move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

How We Work
An Individually Tailored Program
In addition to group, individual, and family therapy, our comprehensive IOP provides personalized programming that may include neurofeedback, social activities and outings, skill building, parent training and support, art therapy, holistic care activities, and opportunities for decompression based on individual and group needs.
All of the above components of our IOP are tailored specifically to your child’s unique needs and the group's needs to truly connect, support each other, and develop healthy relationships.
A Safe Space For Healing
TheraThrive IOP excels in supporting teens and families who feel at their limit and at a loss for what to do next.
We thrive in connecting with disconnected teens, and creating a space where vulnerability and healing are no longer scary or avoided.
Our specialty is working with neurodivergence and asynchronous development, which means we understand the complex nuances that can accompany giftedness, autism, ADHD, OCD, high sensitivity, and learning differences and disabilities.
You Are Our Priority
We emphasize a reparative and therapeutic approach throughout the IOP program, and we will stay connected with you each step of the way.
Many clients we work with have told us about their previous experiences of feeling unheard or unseen by providers in the past, and how their complexity and true needs were not fully addressed before coming to TheraThrive.
At TheraThrive IOP, you and your adolescent are the priority. Your goals are important to us, and treatment goals are developed collaboratively to align with your family's priorities and your child's individual needs.

IOP Group Sessions
At TheraThrive, we believe (and have experienced) that fun and laughter can be foundational to healing.
Therefore, while our groups and activities may feel fun, such as through game play, the underlying development and skill building are real, meaningful, and intentional.
Fun doesn't make the work less important; it can create the safety, connection, engagement, and openness that allow meaningful growth to happen. In other words, fun isn't separate from the work; often, it's part of how the work happens.

Participants receive both clinic-based and home-based neurofeedback training throughout TheraThrive's IOP, which over the course of 8 weeks allows for 24 neurofeedback brain training sessions, a complete treatment protocol.
This integrated approach supports adolescents to practice self-regulation skills consistently while helping clinicians monitor progress and tailor interventions to individual needs.
